How to Apply UV DTF Stickers

UV DTF stickers work on hard, smooth surfaces such as glass, metal, plastic, and ceramic. Once a sticker is placed, it can’t be repositioned, so line it up carefully.

  1. Clean the surface. Wipe it with rubbing alcohol and let it dry completely. Dust, oils, and fingerprints keep the sticker from bonding.
  2. Squeegee the back of the sticker. With the sticker still on its backing, run a squeegee firmly back and forth across the whole design several times.
  3. Peel off the backing slowly. Take extra care with fine lines and small details. If any part stays on the backing, lay it back down and squeegee again.
  4. Place the sticker. Line it up carefully before it touches the surface.
  5. Press it down. Run the squeegee firmly over the entire design, working from the center outward to push out air bubbles.
  6. Remove the clear top film slowly at a low angle. If part of the design lifts, press it back down with the squeegee and try again.
