How To Press Your Design (DTF Transfer) On Your Apparel
NOTE: HOT PEEL - Pre-Heat your Heat Press to reach 290 degrees.
- Press your blank apparel on the side you will have your design to give it a nice smooth surface.
- Place your DTF Transfer in the exact location you want.
- Cover your DTF Transfer with teflon on or parchment paper of the same size or larger. This will help avoid your transfer from lifting.
- Use your preheated Heat Press at 290 degrees to press down with heavy pressure for 12-15 seconds.
- Peel off the backing of your DTF transfer immediately.
- (Optional) Do a final press of 7-10 seconds using teflon or parchment paper
If you are using an iron:
- Set your iron to the highest cotton setting without steam.
- Preheat your garment for a few seconds to remove any moisture and wrinkles.
- Place the transfer face down on the garment, making sure it's centered and aligned.
- Apply firm and even pressure while moving the iron in a circular motion for about 20-30 seconds.
- Allow the transfer to cool down completely before peeling off the backing paper.
- (Optional) Do a final press of 7-10 seconds using teflon or parchment paper
Washing & Care Of Your Printed Apparel
#1 Turn your apparel inside out.
#2 Machine wash cold
#3 For best results use a mild, with no bleach, no whitening/brightening detergent. Examples are No Bleach, No OxiClean, No Fabric Softeners etc..
#4 Tumble dry low or hang to dry.
#5 Never iron over any design.
