Direct-to-film or DTF Transfers, is a revolutionary technology that utilizes a special ink to print on PET film sheets (Polyethylene Terephthalate) or rolls. PET is a thermoplastic-engineered film, which means it can be formed and manipulated in different ways when a specific heat source is applied to it. Full color ink is printed on the film with a white layer of ink on the back of each transfer, coated with a special powder adhesive and finalized by curing. Your DTF Transfer is now complete and you can transfer it to a t-shirt, sweatshirt etc... made of cotton, polyester, or their blends, regardless of their color via a heat press machine. DTF transfers are lightweight and durable, with a soft almost satin-like finish.
